Your trainer
Teresa combines her teaching skills and experience with her clinical expertise in offering a range of bespoke workshops in advanced needling skills. These are for health professionals (none traditional acupuncturists) who have completed their foundation training in acupuncture/dry needling as an adjunct therapy.
She has ran approved courses through the AACP (Acupuncture Association of Chartered Physiotherapists).
Training ethos
Inspired by a system of medicine that has been researched and refined for over 2000 years Teresa is impassioned in promoting the highest standards in training delivery.
As a modality used nowadays in diverse healthcare settings, it is important to her that health practitioners are clear on the range and scope of the clinical application of acupuncture and dry needling.
There can be some confusion by the general public with the distinction(s) between traditional acupuncture, medical acupuncture and dry needling. Teresa finds that clear training guidelines on the parameters of acupuncture as an adjunct therapy gives health practitioners greater confidence and context in which to practice their needling skills.
Teresa's aims is to engage others through learning. Forging working relationships between traditional acupuncturists and other health professionals ultimately widens patient choices of acupuncture/dry needling treatments.

Clinical skills/learning groups
Bespoke group sessions are available for both traditional acupuncturists and other health practitioners keen to hone their needling skills and boost their confidence.
They are suitable for those who have just completed their foundation training or those who would like to use needling skills more in treatment or, re-introduce needling as an adjunct to their practice.
These sessions are also a good opportunity for CPD learning where practitioners find it difficult to schedule courses into their busy professional lives. Teresa is happy to come along to practitioners clinical space in order to make this learning opportunity more accessible.
